Mitchells original Restaurant was founded in 1989 North Street, Charing Cross. We are a family owned and more important still operated by the owners Angus & Veronica.
A special mention to two senior members of the Mitchells team are Gary Ward our head chef & Lorna Sangster our restaurant manageress both have been with us since opening here in Carmunnock May 2001!

Within the first month of opening Carmunnock. Gary Ward a young man in his late twenties arrived with a thick Liverpool /scouse accent, a ponytail and a glowing reference from Glasgow's Rogano where he was the senior sous chef. Pretty soon his cooking did the talking this time the only heavy accent was on his classical French cuisine. The only training he is focusing on now is being a dad to his young son born here in Carmunnock 2002. Wow time flies.
